Your privacy is important to us. Sirat is designed to help you on your Islamic journey while collecting only the information necessary to provide core app functionality.
Information We Collect
If you choose to create an account, Sirat may collect and securely store:
- Email address (for authentication)
- User account identifier
- Prayer progress
- Quran reading progress
- Goals, streaks, achievements, and points
- App preferences and settings
This information is stored securely using Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore so your progress can be synchronized across your devices.
Guest Mode
Sirat offers a Guest Mode that does not require creating an account. When using Guest Mode, your progress is stored locally on your device and is not synced unless you later choose to create an account.
Location
Sirat may request access to your device's location solely to calculate accurate prayer times. Your precise location is not used for tracking or advertising purposes.
Purchases
If you choose to make an optional in-app purchase or donation, payment processing is handled securely by Apple through the App Store. Sirat does not receive or store your payment information.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Analytics and Tracking
Sirat does not use third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics services to profile users.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information and use secure services provided by Firebase to store account-related data.
