Terms of Service

• You must comply with all applicable laws when using Sirat.
• If you are under the age required to create an account in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Sirat is an Islamic companion application designed to help users strengthen their relationship with Allah through features including:

• Prayer tracking
• Quran reading and progress
• Dhikr tracking
• Prophet stories
• Duas
• Islamic educational content
• Community features including friends, circles, and messaging
• Personal achievements and progress
• Optional support purchases

Sirat is intended for educational, motivational, and organizational purposes.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Sirat allows users to connect with others through features such as friends, circles, messaging, dua requests, and community interactions. When using these features, you agree to communicate respectfully. You may not:

• Harass or threaten others
• Share hateful or discriminatory content
• Impersonate another person
• Send spam or unsolicited advertisements
• Share illegal or harmful material
• Attempt to exploit or manipulate other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you submit through Sirat, including messages, profile information, and community posts. By submitting content, you grant Sirat a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for operating the Service. You represent that:

• You own or have permission to share your content.
• Your content does not violate the rights of others.
• Your content complies with applicable laws.

Sirat provides Islamic educational materials including Quran translations, Prophet stories, duas, and other educational resources. This content is intended for learning and personal reflection. While we strive for accuracy, interpretations and translations may differ among scholars and schools of thought. Users should consult qualified scholars for religious guidance where appropriate.

Prayer times are calculated using recognized calculation methods and your selected location. Because calculations, local observations, and regional practices may differ, Sirat cannot guarantee that prayer times exactly match every mosque or community. Users remain responsible for confirming prayer times according to their local community when necessary.

• Sirat may offer optional in-app purchases to support development or unlock additional features.
• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store.
• Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policies.
• Sirat does not process payment information directly.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer the application
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Circumvent security measures
• Use bots or automated systems
• Distribute malware
• Interfere with the Service
• Use Sirat for unlawful purposes

The Sirat application, branding, logos, graphics, software, design, and original content are owned by Sirat and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your use of Sirat is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Harm other users
• Abuse the Service
• Attempt to compromise platform security

You may stop using Sirat at any time.

We strive to keep Sirat available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, technical issues, or third-party outages may temporarily affect availability.

Sirat is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties regarding:

• Continuous availability
• Accuracy of all content
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Freedom from errors or interruptions

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sirat and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the Service during the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will update the Effective Date and may notify users within the app. Continued use of Sirat after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
